He has a crazy wild laugh and drums pretty loud on the wood. Must have good shock absorption padding in that big head of his.

Every year about this time this woodpecker shows up in the back. Pretty sure it's the same one. He's one hungry hardworking woodpecker. I always get excited to see him...When he was spotted the cry went up in the house - "There's a woody in the back!" (:-D) Exciting times here in Minnehaha...
