A Golf Cheney Kling Kinda Day

I went to the golf range yesterday morning..a great unique free place to shag your own balls and hangout with fellow golf rats...there are some excellent players out there that are very generous with helping with my swing and tempo...they helped me realize an A Ha! moment earlier this year - I didn't have to swing hard to make the ball really go..I'd been over emphasizing my arms in the swing but when I changed the tempo loaded up at the top of my back swing and gave my body a chance to start moving forward my distance really improved - up to 2 clubs difference - what would take a 7 iron before I can now do with a 9. After a couple hours I took off for home. I passed 2 unmarked cars sitting on the overpass looking down on the interstate...the interstate was completely empty in the southbound lanes...I read later that Cheney was in Orono west of Minneapolis at a private home raising money from the rich people out there for the Republican party....dozens of local police taken away from over duties and deployed at each on-ramp and overpass...they blocked traffic mid day and inconvenienced thousands to raise money for his party...not on official business...later after dinner went to a reading by Minnesota author/humorist Keven Kling - that guy is funny - tears running down my face funny
